Teen Volunteers

Teen Listeners are the heart of Teen Line. Teen Line's staff carefully screen and select volunteers to support our crisis hotline and receive outreach training. Volunteers respond to calls, emails, and texts every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST.

Our Summer 2024 Training application is now available. For Summer 2024 Training, we will only accept applications from teens who are at least 14 years old and are currently in the 9th or 10th grade.  Current 8th graders are not eligible to apply until our next training session in the Fall (when they are in 9th grade). You can view our Summer 2024 Training calendar here Please click on "Apply Now" to be directed to our online volunteer application portal.

Teen Line holds three training sessions per year: Fall, Spring, and Summer. To be notified once future applications are available, sign up for our mailing list by submitting your email address here.

If you are an adult mental health associate looking for volunteer opportunities, please send your resume to Cheryl Eskin at cheryl@teenlineonline.org.
