Teen Listeners are the heart of Teen Line. Teen Line's staff carefully screen and select volunteers to support our crisis hotline and receive outreach training. Volunteers respond to calls, emails, and texts every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST.
Teen Line holds three training sessions per year: fall, spring, and summer. To be notified once applications are available, sign up for our mailing list by submitting your email address here.
If you are a mental health associate looking for volunteer opportunities, please send your resume to Cheryl Eskin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why volunteer with Teen Line:

Receive training on topics including crisis intervention, suicide prevention, diversity, sexuality and gender identity, child abuse, and self-destructive behaviors.
Support other teens by clarifying their concerns, discussing the options available, and making referrals to community resources.
Volunteers are unpaid, although you may receive community service credit at school.
