Mission Statement
Hotline Help Center Teenline trains and supervises teen volunteers
to help other teens in crisis in Jesus' name, within Orange County
and around the world. Teenline offers live suicide prevention, crisis
intervention, nonjudgmental care, goal-setting, and community referrals
to all teens - without regard to their gender, color, religion, socioeconomic
status, lifestyle, or personal need - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year,
free of charge, by phone and by internet. Hotline volunteers also
actively reach out to young people in need or at risk in Orange County
through education, support groups, and assistance with basic needs.
Funding
Hotline Help Center is a non-profit California Corporation (501C3)
that has operated without federal or state funding since its inception
in 1968. Hotline's support comes from individuals, service groups,
corporations, and churches who share our concern for people in crisis.
